WHY DOESN'T THE BEARD GROW EVENLY?

Updated: Mar 6, 2022

The main and most common factor that interrupts the growth of facial hair in men is Androgens, the sex hormones that include Testosterone and Andro testosterone. And it is precisely the first that is responsible for activating the follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) to generate the growth of facial and body hair on our body.

But not for that reason it should be thought that the more hormonal level of testosterone there is, it will imply having a greater density of it. For the same reason that it is very relative and depends on the tolerance level of the organism to overpopulate it.

Of course, if there is a radical absence of testosterone, or it remains in force gradually, there will be a significant paralysis of the follicular life cycle. And therefore, very little homogeneous population in the beard. Still, your pattern of hair growth and distribution can be counteracted as long as your genetics or racial ancestry are not involved.

6 TIPS TO HAVE A BUSHED BEARD

Even though genes and good testosterone optimization may not help you grow your beard like you'd hope, all is not lost! There are certain tips that, if included in your daily routine, can give you a follicular growth process with better potential and speed. And also, your image is what will show the change.

DO NOT SHAVE FOR AT LEAST 1 MONTH

Once you have decided to grow your beard, you are also giving up touching it up. Well, letting it grow for at least 1 month without shaving or trimming is the perfect opportunity to establish itself solidly. This is one of the best recommendations for growing thick and dense beards within one's genetic limits.

It is common and normal for you to begin to feel some irritation and discomfort, as short hair rubs against the skin and causes quite a bit of itching. So, scratching should not be an option, it can even cause rashes that result in uneven hair growth. And if the itchiness becomes unbearable, you can try applying a Vitamin E oil, making sure that it reaches the skin under the beard. A good shampoo and scrub can also help.

WASH IT WITH A BEARD SOAP OR CONDITIONER

Use specific and quality products for the beard, you will notice an initial and progressive change, as this will remove all the dirt lodged in the hair follicles, leaving free way for a more explosive growth of facial hair.

Always massage your face gently and deeply while you apply the soap, and always opt for warm to cold water so that the freshness stimulates the blood supply to your face.

HEALTHY BODY AND MIND = HEALTHY BEARD

Exercising regularly is key to good facial hair growth, and this is what scientific studies argue: exercising balances testosterone levels and:

  • Increased metabolism, which can stimulate facial hair growth.

  • Body recovery, which helps to replenish hair and skin.

  • Maintains an active state of life.

  • Improve mood and self-esteem, which should be your number 1 priority and after that comes beard growth.

KEEP A BALANCED DIET

Not only external care will help you to have a thick beard, it is also essential that you follow a balanced diet rich in green vegetables and proteins. Therefore, it is recommended that you include in your diet the consumption of those foods that strengthen the hair through nutrients: vitamins A and B, antioxidants, zinc, iron and folic acid.

You should also consume foods rich in biotin. Biotin is an essential class of water-soluble vitamin B complex, which helps to develop healthier and stronger hair naturally. Eggs, almonds, walnuts, whole grains, dairy products, meat, and poultry are rich in biotin.

EXFOLIATE YOUR FACE ONCE A WEEK

For the beard to grow faster, it is also important that you take maximum care of your skin, so an intense exfoliation once a week is required. Well, keeping a clean face will avoid having any dirt that can clog the pore and, consequently, completely restrict it so that the hair cannot grow naturally, strong and vigorously.

LAST OPTION: HAIR IMPLANT

If despite the recommendations given, and given the ineffectiveness of different treatments, you still have not achieved or you have given up on the follicular growth of your beard, don't worry! There is still one last and successful option: Beard Implant. When mentioning this type of implants, we refer to the repopulation of hair in the mustache, the area of the cheeks, the sideburns and the chin. Areas where in particular cases the hair follicles have not been growing normally.
